As you are aware, we are all living in a very exceptional situation because of the COVID-19. Many travel restrictions have been announced by different governments in the past few days.

Our first priority is to deal with all groups travelling between the 13/03/2020 and the 19/04/2020. It’s obvious that these groups have been unable to travel or won’t be able to travel in the next few weeks.

All of the concerned groups are invited to postpone their stay by sending an email to: reschedule@maximise.co.uk ; only postponement requests will be processed via this email address.

By taking into account a situation which is by definition very evolving, we need to react as quickly as possible. We have close contact with our local partners to make the necessary decisions to postpone a stay due to the closure of the borders or due to health recommendations.

To date, Crazy Voyages has taken several important steps:

1-All stays from the 16th of March to the 19th of April included without flights can be rescheduled between September and December 2020 without any fees. You just have to contact your account manager or answer to reschedule@maximise.co.uk by specifying the new date for your travel.

2-All stays from the 16th of March to the 19th of April included that HAVE flights booked with us can be rescheduled between September and December 2020 if the airline accepts the postponement and follows our recommendations. You just have to contact your account manager or answer to reschedule@maximise.co.uk by specifying the new date for your travel.

3-All of the stays that should have taken place between March 12 and 15 will be treated case by case. Most of them can be postponed without any extra fee if you were not able to travel because of closure of the borders or because of health restrictions. In this case, please detail the reasons for your cancellation and let us know a new date between September and December 2020 for your journey by sending an email to reschedule@maximise.co.uk

So far we can’t comment on possible refunds of your canceled trips. We are receiving a lot of emails asking us about an immediate refund or telling us that the Stag or Hen party is not able to be rescheduled. We understand your concern and your needs. However, like many travel agents hit by this unprecedented crisis, we can’t afford to refund our customers at this time. We are awaiting a strong gesture from the government to support our sector and the first elements suggest that postponements of stay will be privileged. We therefore anticipated by negotiating postponements with all of our local providers and we now offer all our customers to postpone their stays.

If this solution doesn’t suit you, you can send a letter to the following address: CRAZY VOYAGES, 8 rue du faubourg poissonnière, 75010 Paris, FRANCE. However, we will only be able to respond to these letters once the French government has made its recommendations on postponements or cancellations of stay. We also inform you that our team is currently home working due to the virus therefore we will not be able to receive the mail immediately.

We are aware of the articles of the Tourism Code which specify that we are supposed, as a travel agent, to reimburse your stay within 14 days. We know the law, but we are all faced with an exceptional situation. We are awaiting government directives to save the tourism sector before making our next decisions.

We are also aware that a lot of weddings are coming up soon so people are saying they are unable to postpone. Unfortunately with the current circumstances this is the best option to save your booking, perhaps it can be an after wedding party or a girls/lads weekend away.

All the sectors are facing an unprecedented crisis. Sporting events are all postponed. Trade fairs too. The important thing in this moment is to stay home and postpone everything that is not vital. We are aware of any inconvenience this may cause you, but we sincerely think that a good weekend between friends at the end of the year, when everything will be back to normality, will not hurt anyone, on the contrary.

Unfortunately, for the last few days, you may have noticed that our staff have been difficult to reach due to being inundated with customers queries and amendments. We apologise for the situation and we sincerely thank you for your understanding. We assure you that your booking query will be processed and as previously mentioned we have to prioritise the closest departure dates. All enquiries to reschedule the stays have to be sent to reschedule@maximise.co.uk and they will be processed within a few working days.

We can assure you that all of our teams are working to resolve the situation and everyone is fully involved to support you in the best possible way. In this period, we understand and share your concern and questions and we stand by you. We will be there as well to help you in planning your next trip in the best possible conditions.

We wish you all to take care of yourself and your loved ones.
